This is the look of 5 very excited humans doing our very worst at looking like the Beastie Boys. We’re out on our second major tour of the year RIGHT NOW and it feels terrific. The excitement of playing for and connecting with so many of you this year fills us to the brim. To quote an old adage/cliché, Springtime is the season for tons of new shit. New music slowly getting fine tuned, new exciting festivals and shows to announce, new wares to hawk… and speaking of new shit, we’re trying out this thing called Substack in lieu of the ol’ fashioned email blast. If you haven’t already marked this as SPAM and you’re still with us, please read on. Substack is gonna let us connect and interact way more like an old friend that you wanna have coffee with, and less like someone you just met at a party that’s like “I’m just gonna sit here and talk at you awhile”. This is gonna allow us to converse and really engage with y’all and we’re hoping to open up discussions and allow folks to truly engage directly with us (and vice versa). Maybe someday it’ll even allow for some EXCLUSIVE content to be heartily doled out to the willing and able, once we figure out how to monetize anything.
OK, moving right along…as mentioned we’re out marauding the highways for the foreseeable future and likely coming very near you or someone you know. 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, but fewer degrees and no Kevin Bacon. Our infinitely talented Crystal Lariza drew up this little thing to help you keep our dates and locales straight:
Isn’t she amazing? We’re awful proud of her. There are some really exciting shows for us on this run…Delfest‽ (Del Yeah). It might be worth pointing out that 6/10 in Bellevue, CO is at the legendary Mishawaka Amphitheater, second only to Red Rocks in terms of majesty, as far as Colorado venues are concerned. We’ll be supporting Yonder Mountain String Band on that one. Very Cool! And we’ll be supporting Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper in Denver the evening before. Very Cool! Please stay tuned and as always, check out our website for ticket links, to buy stuff, to solicit bad advice, etc. Or, if being consumed by an inescapable maelstrom of whirling detritus is more your speed, follow us on all of the social thingies like this one. We’re working on adding a bunch of cool stuff to our YouChewb page like this, in case ya missed it:
Alrighty, that’s it for now.
Thank You For Being a Friend.

Beautiful!!! Awesome video!!
Show us the photos of Aunt Kathy getting tagged. The dark seedy side of bluegrass, that’s what the people want.
